Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love platforms like Couchsurfing, because I get to know local people and their experiences. Instead of staying in the hotel alone, I prefer having a chat with the person sharing the place.

The advantage of Couchsurfing is the ability to see the country from the local's perspective.

I don't like the places made specifically for the tourists. They are not the real face of the country. I love eating where local's eat, seeing what local's see, traveling to the places where no tourist has ever visited. I can't get that by staying in the hotel. Plus it allows me to find new friends and this is the best part!

Music, Movies, and Books

It may sound strange, but I like the pop music. Starting with Avril Lavigne, Maroon, Taylor Swift and finishing with Madonna, Britney Spears, Lady Gaga - I love them all. These songs touch me in one way or another - be it feelings, lifestyle, view of the world or just appreciation.

I love reading books, especially when I get some spare time. My main interests are about the real estate, investment, wealth, business, lifestyle, systemizing the work. I also read about programming, improvisation and stand up comedy.

I love action movies and comedies. I'm not a fan of horror or romantic movies. I do watch them on occasion, but these aren't on my list of favorites. Although there is always an exception.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've seen beautiful mountains traveling in Gran Canaria. I'm from the cold and flat country myself, so palm trees and mountains are not the things I'm used to seeing in my country. Not as amusing as seeing the Mother Teresa, or saving a kitten from the burning tree, but still counts in my dictionary.

The saint Peter's basilica in Vatican is something astounding too. It made me feel very small. It's as beautiful as standing on the edge of the moon and looking at the Earth. Breath taking.

I love sharing my knowledge. Some say I know nothing as if I was John Snow, but others find my knowledge amusing. There is only one way to find out which side you belong to.
