ABOUT ME

My name is Kush and I am 27 years young. I joined CS back in 2014, Since then it has been an amazing journey and I hope I can continue meeting new, interesting people along the way. Even to this day I prefer CSing over Airbnbing as I think it's personal over commercial. Surprsingly mostly all the hosts, guests and people I have meet through CS'sing have been wonderful. Sometimes I also come across people who I think I have known them from two lifetimes but just meeting them now.
Being born and growing up in two very different cultures I am somewhere in between being a Dane and an Indian that also sparks in me to know more about your culture.I like to chat with people from around the globe. I think It's really interesting to listen to people 's diverse thoughts on some common ideas. I like showing people around the city but sometimes it's difficult during the weekdays where I am generally busy with my work, but in any case, if i am not available to give a guided tour I would be happy to tell some interesting places to visit, history and cuisine to try.
My apartment is very near to the city center and a direct bus runs from the Central Station to the doorstep.. It's a cool neighbourhood that I reside in with plenty of opportunities to explore new cafes, bars and clubs.. Shawarma/pizza shops are open more or less 24*7.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I guess it started with a different objective that what I use it for now. In the early 2014 I used CS'ing to get some cheaper places to stay as I was a student and everyplace in Europe felt expensive especially coming from India. Now that I can somewhat offord a hostel or something I still do it to meet new, cool people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The couch Surfing Experience so far has been great. I think its more fun to visit a place with a local person who can tell you some interesting stories about the place. We also make great friends as we go along..

Interests

I love playing Chess and analyzing games. I think Chess is everything in one: Art, science and sports. When you start looking deeply you can notice how creative good players are. For that reason there are more books written on just chess than all the sports combined. If you want to learn how to play chess I would love to teach you :)
Secondly I play guitar, no matter how tired I am after a day when I pluck the E string I suddenly forget all the about my day. Although I am sort of beginner - Intermediate so if you know how to play, maybe you can teach me how to switch cords smoothly .
Thirdly I like running, I know it can be boring, but it's like meditation for me, its like therapy and as Sarah rightly said ''The feeling you get from a good run is far better than feeling you get from sitting around wishing you were running''.
My interest also evolve/ change over time.

CouchSurfing is a great platform to learn and share different views.. There's a danish saying "If two people have 1 penny each and they exchange it, they are left with 1 penny each, But If they both have an idea and they exchange it, they are left with 2 ideas.."
