About Me

✨Hellowww future friend ✨ here’s yer Scottish-German girl, who loves singing, chilling and food. ☮️ 🎼🍪 Travelling to the US in Feb/March 2023 to visit Mardi Gras in New Orleans and also New York, Washington and some other lovely place along the way (Baltimore or Philadelphia - you vote!).

I don’t know what the German state television’s budget is on making documentaries on New Orleans, but it must be effing massive. Cause basically that has taken up probably 40% of my screen-time from infant-age up to now. Closely followed by Cuba and Mongolia. They are my other two dream-destinations.

I had an old profile here, but somehow it disappeared (lol), from when I was super active maybe 10years ago. It has some ancient reviews of me, being good at making jam made of kiwis etc. So now getting back into the comfy creases of couchsurfing and excited about this fresh start.

I can be small or big. If you‘re really busy, I am happy to just go out for a meal or drink in the evening. But if you have time, I‘d also be super excited to spend all day exploring with you. Ok enough said. You get the point 😅

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Performing old Scottish love-songs in a Hobbit-like forrest for one of my best friends wedding up in the Scottish Highlands

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: how to pack for a month-long-trip only using hand-luggage, public-speaking, how to dance like nobodys watching, tips on travelling through Europe, German, some yoga

Learn: I love the concept of frugal living and learning how to make stuff myself, like growing food, upcycling, gathering herbs, making food from scraps.

But actually I love learning any fun skills in general. And learn about other peoples passions, interests and mini-delights that make life even more glowy. The only thing I have not warmed up to yet is board-games, but maybe someone will open my eyes on that topic someday.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I will try and make sure to bring a small culinary delight from Germany for you to try.

I am also real good at improvising songs if you give me three random words.

And I’m quite funny and statistically will most likely make you laugh in the first hour of meeting (unless I am like super-sleepy, then I need to sleep first and then build up to an even better joke the next morning drawing on inspiration from my dreams).
