About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Lead a peaceful, relaxed life

ABOUT ME

Just a note you will almost certainly need a car to stay at our house as it doesn't have access to public transport.

We're looking for fun travelers to come and enjoy our suburban house with us. Also travelers that are into cooking, conversations, cycling, running and nature walks.

I like to think I'm pretty relaxed. I enjoy a beer or two at the pub. I love playing sports like rugby, tennis, cricket and soccer. I'm an avid reader and enjoy art cinema. Music is my passion and I am an amateur Dj.
I am a good listener and love showing foreigners my country..
My life in Paarl consists of meeting up with friends and having a fun filled dinner with a few glasses of wine. Curling up on the couch with a good book, or playing sports with my mates.
I'm bike riding quite a bit at the moment. So if you are keen to ride then I'm happy to go with you. I have two bikes which I'm happy to share!

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that this world is not all about work and career.. There is so much more to life like socialising, travelling, reading, meditating, having long wine-filled lunches, playing sports and being with friends and family.
Spontaneity is the key!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I think CS2 is such a great idea.. I couchsurfed all over Switzerland and felt I was able to experience Switzerland like a local rather than a tourist. I did things I could never have done if my hosts hadn't shown them to me.. I recently had my first guest who was Swiss and it was great to meet him and show off my home town!!
I had about 10 people during the World cup in South Africa and it was an absolute blast.. Singing with my Argentinian CS'ers when Argentina won.. Crying when they lost! Braving the freezing temperatures to watch games with Canadians and Americans.. What an absolute blast!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've couchsurfed in Switzerland, Italy, India, America and England and had so many amazing and beautiful experiences.
I've hosted people from all over the world in my hometown of Johannesburg..

Interests

Reading, music, sport, cinema, dancing..
I love going out and meeting new people and especially learning about different places in the world. Cycling and running are hobbies of mine.
