Left the City of Angels (L.A.) for the Caribbean. Have been to most of the major islands in the Caribbean. Now re-turning with my own sailboat.

ABOUT ME

Born in Lake Forest, IL. and grew up in Alhambra, CA, which was very much like the town represented on the TV show "Leave It To Beaver". Quiet, middle class neighborhoods with good Mid-Western values.

Played most sports and received a University Track Scholarship. Ran the 400m, 400m hurdles, pole-vaulted and competed in the decathlon.

I'm an amateur photographer. Photography really "nourishes" my soul & helps me "see" beyond the obvious.

Photography continually helps me remember how incredibly beautiful our world truly is...

Have 36 foot Morgan sailboat and occasionally may have a very small "couch" to share.

Stayed 1 night on Denko's couch in Nassau, Bahamas. He was simply Great...(See positive reference I gave about him below)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Learned a valuable lesson & am alive to tell the tale.

Was 1st one down the mountain at Alta Ski Resort (Utah) with a heavy, fresh layer of new snow.....Accidentally went over a 40 foot cliff....AND survived without crashing on 6 very large uncovered boulders on either side. ( Landed up to my neck in a snowdrift WITH leather strapped boot bindings... Thank GOD for today's quick release bindings.)

Took awhile to get myself outta that one.

Have "learned" to slow down and take life a bit easier.

Enjoy meeting all kinds of people, especially from outside of the USA... to learn about their culture & perspectives.

Am fairly patient, so I tend to be a pretty good teacher. Taught skiing and volunteered as a ski patroller.
