Friendly, very open and easy character. Loves to be with people but sometimes also needs his time on his own. Non smoker, sporty and very communicative but being in between of extravert and introvert.

PHILOSOPHY

Be positive but be VERY aware of what's going on. Learn from the past, dream of the future but ACT now.

Interests

Keeping up with what's going on in the World (economically, politics but also culturally) by twitter, the Economist, TED, and other press.
Sports: jogging, tennis, swimming and ocasionally diving/snorkling
I'm very engaged in photovoltaic solar power and the whole climate/energy topic.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Enrique Bunbury, Jeff Buckley, Mor ve Ötesi but also Latin and Flamenco.
Books: Peter Tom Jones and Geert Noels on how our future will look like (Economically, sociologically and environmentally)
Movies: a long list... especially the unknown treasures like Mean Creak or Temporada de Patos / Lake Tahoe but also the classic Almodóvar and most of Gus Van Sant's work. Some SF (like the last Star Trek or the "old" Star Wars). I cannot stand blockbuster or horror films.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

To be on top of El Castillo en Yucatán, México and visiting the other Mayan buildings I've seen over there. A dive in the local (underground) lakes "Cenotes" was pure magic.

The first time I ate sushi in a small Japanese restaurant on the Canary Islands.

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to learn and better understand how people think and feel about climate change. I will never push my own opinion however I hope that even the harschest non-believers are open for a talk. From those, I wish to learn what is important to them and what influences their conviction. From those who do acknowledge that we must act urgently, I want to learn what can be done and hope we can motivate each other in order to keep an optimistic outlook and a positive attitude.
