Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I do believe that museums and cafes don't tell you as much about a place as the people do. I figured this when a couple in Pokhara, Nepal hosted me. I want to meet people with whom I can be genuine and frank. I have heard and read so much about this website and I really wanted to try it out. This will be my first experience and I have so many hopes!

All-time favourite books: Dykes to Watch Out For (or anything by Alison Bechdel), stuff by Foucault and his disciples, Susan Sontag. I like mostly non-fiction.
Music: Bossa Nova is the love of my life. Father John Misty, Lana Del Rey... other pop stuff
Films: The Dreamers, Nocturnal Animals and A Single Man (isn't Tom Ford amazing?), Juno, Y tu mama tambien, or pretty much any coming-of-age movie, I also like selected classics by Aronofsky, Hitchcock, Kubrick. Bollywood: Margarita with a Straw, Queen, A Death in the Gunj
