Short answer - to meet interesting people, catch up on their stories, and to have memorable moments while travelling. The concept let's you tag along locals, unlike hostels where you mostly meet travellers.

Music - Adele, she is sugar to ears One Direction, and esp Harry Styles - he is intoxicating. Just play anything, any good music can soothe your soul. Not a great movie fan, but follow some series - The Alienist, Anne with an E, House of Cards...and yes always ready for a conversation on Game of Thrones.
