ABOUT ME

I'm Aaron originally from Austin, Texas, but I've lived all over the U.S. (mostly in between Texas and Alaska)and spent most of the past ten years commercial fishing and traveling the world. Lately I've been studying travel and tourism and I'm looking forwad to put that to use. I am real easy to get along with, patient, and easy going. If you are surfing my house I will try to show you around as much as I have time for, or you can come and go, more or less, as you please. If I'm surfing yours I will be respectful of any rules you have and will try to keep you informed of my plans if they relate to me staying.

**Update 9/2015

I'm living near Denver in my motorhome, I move it everyday and usually stay in random parking lots. Once in a while I go to one of the local state parks and park there with full hookups. I do have a fold out couch.

***Update 11/ 2015 I'm in San Diego now, staying in a bare bones trailer park, no electricity.

I have been hosting and attending events, and enjoying it, hope to become more involved.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i have been couchsurfing the old school way a long time but after meeting so many couchsurfers while traveling I decided to get into it. I've hosted more times than I've surfed, but all good experiences.

兴趣

getting lost in cities when i have nowhere to go, brownies, people who can take a joke, pizza, sushi, diving, rock climbing, reading(usually nonfiction), drinking delicious craft brews,talking philosophy, meeting random people everywhere,the origins of words, funny movies, tacos, collecting money and maps from around the world, other stuff.

the sunrise at mt sinai, a hammock in don det, the beach at ras abu gallum, shanti shanti in san pedro,kabul hostel, kahana beach, kodiak island, brooks camp, Petra, stepped out of a plane for no good reason.
