About Me
Hi! I'm Ava. I am currently working in the city tourism department as a cultural mapper, at the same time their graphic designer.
I live with my parents in our compound. My brother has his own studio house separate from the main house. He's cool. I also have pet cats, dogs, and fishes, if you're fine with that. But they're a bit snob. Lol
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Whenever I travel, I always search for accommodations that are interesting enough and not just some place to stay or sleep in. I usually try my best to interact or spark a conversation with the people around. It is always exciting whenever my family has guests in our house. It was always like this when I was younger, my dad had writer friends staying in for months. Although this is rarely the case now because of changes in work, we still welcome people in our humble home.
Interests
I am a Fine Arts graduate and naturally I still am interested eith the arts eventhough I haven't really practiced it for a long time. I still wish of painting a big mural someday.
I am also very interested with culture and traditions of a community or a place. The colorful tapestries of stories of the people interests and inspires me a lot.

Music, Movies, and Books
I do know a lot of music but probably you have much more to share. If I could have time to drive you around, I'll be the car DJ. And probably let you play yours as well.
I have few film directors whose works I adore: Wong Kar Wai, Wes Anderson, Makoto Shinkai, Satoshi Kon, Richard Linklater, to name a few.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love sharing stories about my country: the culture, language, the people, and the arts. Hopefully, we could make long-term friends. And id show you around Philippines if you want to 😉 i love sending snail mails, if you guys like it. Haha
