About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I want to see the world and come home with changed eyes. Cliche, but for real.

ABOUT ME

I am a 22yo recent college graduate with a degree in Business Administration (Marketing) and Art Studio. I guess if my best friends were to describe me, they would say I am outgoing, love to travel, and love taking photos. My dad is from Ballymena, Northern Ireland so I have been there a bunch of times to visit my grandparents and family.

My real love for traveling developed after I went on the Semester at Sea program (www.semesteratsea.org) during the Summer of 2010. I met so many amazing friends from across the United States and abroad (all while traveling to Canada, Spain, Italy, Croatia, Greece, Turkey, Egypt, & Morocco) and my addiction hasn't stopped since.

I lived in New York during the Summer of 2011 and interned at Shape Magazine as a photo intern. I am now doing freelance photo research for Men's Fitness magazine (based in NY, but my boss is awesome and letting me freelance from Kentucky), and working as a full-time nanny.

I am working as much as possible and saving for a big trip before I get a "big girl" job. I have a one-way flight to Ireland (starting with the fam) on July 25th. I am meeting two of my best friends who are doing the trip with me in Sweden (one of my good friends lives there)!

We have NO plans. We only have places to stay, for sure, in Lund, Sweden and London. No plans, but I'm not complaining. I can't wait!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The Pyramids of Giza at sunrise were amazing. That was one moment where I was just like "whoa..."

Also, I was in Marrakech, Morocco and I had four Silly Bandz on my arm (little colored rubberbands shaped like animals)...anyway, a little kid came up to me on the street and was hustling me to buy things from him, but instead I gave him a Silly Band. Honestly, I've never seen a smile so big.

Countries I’ve Visited

Bahamas, Canada, Croatia, Egypt, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Jamaica, Mexico, Morocco, Spain, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States
