Hi! My name is Abby, and I'm currently studying Dental Surgery. I started using couch surfing in 2017, when I decided to solo travel for 8 months and wanted to meet new and interesting people along the way. I have a huge range of interests (and I'm always wanting to learn new things!) but I especially love to hike, read, swim, play with dogs, eat, explore, and learn!

I really love Radiohead, Banks, Split Enz, Crowded House, Matt Corby, Kimbra and loads of others when it comes to music - basically anything except screamo I like (sorry screamo fans).

My favourite book is "If This Is A Man" by Primo Levi

I don't think I have a favourite movie! It changes depending what mood I'm in; however, I am a sucker for tv shows like Parks and Rec, Scrubs, and The Office.

Perhaps not one amazing thing I've "done" but one incredible memory I have (among many others) is the final day of the W Trek in Torres Del Paine national park. As someone who has spent almost the entirety of her life in Australia, snow is something I've only seen two or three times, so it was extraordinarily special when after hard rain on the ascent to the Three Towers, it began to snow! Pure (freezing) ecstasy!
