About Me
Abeer here!
I am an aeronautical engineer by profession. Someone who loves to cycle, swim and run everyday I can get hands on time. I have been a mentor to my juniors during my undergraduate studies and have helped students improve their learning skills and the way they present themselves. I love my family and the few friends I have. I have always wanted to travel around the world and meet new people, experience cultures and engage with people like myself. I am also an amateur photographer and love to capture moments that are unique and special to me so that I can cherish them as memories and never forget.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am couchsurfing because I believe in the true definition of travelling. Travelling is not about displacing yourself from point A to point B, instead it is and always will be about meeting people, learning, teaching and enjoying. Rather than staying in a hotel, I would prefer staying and being in presence of a kind, helpful and adventurous native person. In that way, I would be able to capture the essence of the places that I visit and partake in the community activities allowing me to understand people and their values much better.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have cycled across a mountainous range in my country. I have completed a bicycle tour of over 300 km.
Teach, Learn, Share
I have always believed that the best way to learn and grow is to interact with people. Each one of us is unique with a story to tell. Books may be my friends but nothing beats humans. The experiences, the pain, struggles and the eventual and definite joy. Though I have been a shy introverted person, I have decided in the recent years to step out of my comfort zone and meet people, learn from them and teach what you can.
I can share interesting personal stories, I can share cool yet simple scientific abd psychological concepts. Since I have a mild OCD towards cleanliness, I can definitely help you clean around the place and keep my area spick and span. :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am an amateur photo/videographer. I can capture and share memories of the times we will have spent together. I will share my love for their countries, for their people and their culture. I will respect. I will reciprocate the love and care I have been provided with. In fact, I will outmatch that, I will do what my culture in Pakistan has taught me, “to always out do your host's hospitality when you host them”. I will offer to host my host in my country whenever they feel like visiting.
I can offer a thank you dinner to the host for allowing me his place to be safe in and spend a comfortable time.
