Music, Movies, and Books

My Favorite Music: Music is a huge part of my life! I’m a big fan of rock and salsa music. I also enjoy a mix of Latin music, classic music, and a bit of everything else that has a good rhythm and soul. Whether it’s a live performance or a casual jam session, I’m always ready to sing along!

My Favorite Movies: I’m drawn to movies that tell powerful stories and take me on a journey. I love classic films and enjoy watching movies from different cultures that offer a unique perspective. Some of my favorites include La La Land for its music and charm, The Motorcycle Diaries for its adventurous spirit, and Amélie for its whimsical view of life.

My Favorite Books: Books that transport me to different worlds or give me a glimpse into someone else’s life are my go-tos. I love reading travel memoirs, historical fiction, and anything that feeds my curiosity about the world. Some of my all-time favorites include One Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabriel García Márquez, Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert, and The Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafón.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of my most unforgettable experiences was dancing under the stars at a traditional fiesta in a small town in Peru. I had just arrived and didn’t speak much Spanish, but the locals embraced me warmly. As the night fell, a mariachi band started playing, and despite my initial shyness, I found myself pulled into the vibrant dance circle. The energy was electric, and I danced with locals who taught me their traditional steps. By the end of the night, I was covered in confetti and laughing with new friends. That magical evening taught me the beauty of spontaneous connections and the joy of immersing myself in local culture, no matter where I am in the world.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: I’d love to share my passion for music and dance! Whether it’s teaching you a few mariachi tunes or showing you some traditional dance steps from my travels, I’m excited to pass on the rhythm and joy. I can also offer insights into the vibrant culture of Bogotá and share some local recipes if you’re interested in trying your hand at Colombian cuisine.

Learn: I’m always eager to learn new things! I’m particularly interested in discovering more about local music traditions, learning new dance styles, and exploring different cuisines from around the world. I’d love to hear your travel stories, learn about your favorite cultural spots, or dive into any unique hobbies or traditions you’re passionate about.

Share: I’m enthusiastic about sharing my travel experiences and the incredible people I've met along the way. Whether it’s over a cup of coffee, a karaoke session, or a walk around the city, I’m here to exchange stories, ideas, and laughter. Let’s make the most of our time together and create new memories!
