About Me

Hi,

My name is Abhishek and I'm currently a student in the US studying Physics and Dance. I grew up in Bangalore, India and I moved to the US just for College. I love going to new places and exposing myself to different cultures around the world. It gives me a new perspective on life and allows me to broaden my horizons.

I love playing football(soccer?) and I used to play a lot especially in High School. I also love playing the piano and the guitar whenever I find the time. If I have a lot of free time on my hands, I like to just sit down and meditate because it centers me well. The most important thing in life to me is freedom and traveling makes me feel light and free and that's why I love it.

Best,
Abhishek

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite movies are - The Shawshank Redemption, The Dark Knight, Inception(Actually, let me spare you the burden of a list and just say all of Christopher Nolan's movies).

Favorite Music - I really like Pop and Rock a lot. I generally am mostly okay with most kind of music as well. I grew up with Eminem, Akon, and Coldplay. I also like Imagine Dragons, 21 Pilots, and Justin Timberlake.

I don't read a lot of books but I have read all of Dan Brown's novels and my favorite one is The Da Vinci Code.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Two years ago when I was 18, I managed to convince my parents that I could move to a new country, one that I'd never been to before, and one where I don't know anyone.
