About Me

California born and just returned to the Golden State after living in Austin TX for a couple of years. Just finished a few months of travel, including a sailing stint in the Bahamas and a bicycle tour across the southwest. Now I'm back in the Sacramento area taking care of a few family things and getting ready for the next adventure! Give me some ideas, yeah?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've been doing couchsurfing for years, but after doing the bicycle tour, my faith in humanity is fully restored and I believe in the inherent goodness in most people. There is more reason to trust than there is to fear, y'all.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Seen a guy with a tattoo of a shark playing a guitar. Forgot where it was but it was definitely in Europe, who says y'all are more sophisticated than us americans? Probably was an american tourist though.

Teach, Learn, Share

Willing to take folks rock climbing, how to fix a bike, a few chords on the ukulele, set up and walk on a slack line, swim laps, maybe a word or two in Arabic, and of course the exchange of words, books, and ideas.
