About five years ago, I discovered the island of St Maarten/ St. Martin in the Caribbean and it captured my heart. After 17 trips there, I still can't get enough. Someday it will be home. I always thought of 'spontaneous' as a verb instead of an adjective, which explains volumes. I prefer to think of myself as sardonic as opposed to sarcastic, (as defined by Cambridge with all due respect to Oxford), and if you know the difference we can have some great conversations. :-) I have, on occasion, been known to howl at the moon. I used to be a coyote, but I'm alright nooooowwwwwwwww. :-) I love a challenge. The quickest way to get me to do something is to look me in the eye and say, "Oh, you can't do that." And mean it. :-) PHILOSOPHY Far better is it to dare great things, than to join ranks with those poor timid souls who know neither victory nor defeat. In other words, "Take a chance". It's ok to make a mistake, just don't make the same mistake twice. And of course... "Here's to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The trouble-makers. The ones who see things differently. They're not fond of rules and they have no respect for the status-quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify, or vilify them but the only thing you can't do is ignore them because they change things. They push the human race forward and while some may see them as the crazy ones, others see genius because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world (one couch at a time :-), are the ones who do.
