Hey :-)

I currently live in Bristol where I work as an acupuncturist. In my early 20s I traveled on my own for two years around mostly Asia and then briefly onto Australia before settling in New Zealand for 7 months... it was one of the best times of my life! Although travelling on my own I was rarely actually ever alone, I met so many interesting & wonderful people along the way. I'll never forgot arriving in New Zealand and just how friendly and accommodating the kiwis were.. willing to give you a bed, shower, food etc and all for nothing in return.. just out the goodness of their heart! This is something I love about the spirit of traveling... it's inclusive and very heart warming. Since qualifiying in my degree and working I still have the travelling bug but have not yet managed to make it away as much as I'd like to explore new places... hence joining up on here! I am sociable and easy going & also very happy in my own company. I love to be creative.. sing, draw, take photos, write.. I really want to travel and see central and South America. Having studied Chinese medicine I'd also LOVE to go to china.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

One of the best things about travelling is getting to meet so many amazing new people.... opening your mind to new cultures, people and ways of life... shaking up the pre conceived ideas of the world. I want to explore new places again, meet like minded people and be able to offer a place in return.

Travelling story's, I love board games.. or just any games actually! Easy company. I am a degree level trained acupuncturist and love to share my knowledge of Chinese medicine and offer treatments when I can. I,m a big fan of cooking and making tasty food. I enjoy doing partner yoga.
