I'm very passionate about sustainability and community. Being apart of coffee culture has given me the skills to get along with many different people. I LOVE music especially the local music scene here in Lincoln. I practice permaculture and I'm the chair of a local nonprofit called Friends of Wilderness Park. I host a eco-logical talk show on our local community radio station KZUM. I've been helping with stopping the Keystone XL here in Nebraska for many years and feel at home in Nature.
When traveling, I enjoy meeting like-minded people and experiencing new places, especially wilderness and natural phenomena.

Honestly, it's cheap and I like to save money when I can. I'd rather spend my dollars locally at a mom and pop than help a corporation amass a larger pile of money.
I also like the open-source, community aspect of couch surfing. It's a cultural model I'd like to be apart of.
