I'm a recent graduate of the University in Nottingham. I love keeping fit and going to the gym. I also love food and cooking and I am more than happy cooking for guests. I like all types of food but my favourite is probably Asain cuisine. I like going out and meeting new people. I am an open minded and non-judgemental person that likes to meet all kinds of people, as I believe you learn more about the world by doing so. I love deep intelligent conversations but also going out and partying.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couch surfing to meet new people and learn about new cultures. I would love to host someone and show them around, the area I know and love. I also like to learn from other people and hear stories about their lives. When I travel, I always like to interact with the locals, as I feel you don't expereience a country properly if you do the typical tourists sights/routes; as they are often very different to what real life is like, in the country and give a false impression. I am on couch surfing to enable me to meet locals and to meet and help, people travelling from all over the world.

I love the outdoors. I like hiking and exploring the wilderness. I am also a keen photographer and have a travel photography blog at theworldthroughalens.com. I have an affinity for photographing the natural world, which I love to do when I travel around. I also love to party, meet and connect with new people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Over the summer I back packed from Australia, where I was studying at the time, all the way through Asia. Eventually ending up in Beijing. I have started a travel blog (theworldthroughalens.com) to document it and provide advice to people who are visting these places in the future. Though due to study commitments, I have yet to finish documenting my trip. It was a really eye opening experience travelling through so many very different countries, visiting so many different places and seeing so many interesting sites. I would love to do something like that again.
