ABOUT ME

If I want to introduce myself in brief, I could mention acronyms like INFP or INTP (by the Myers-Briggs personality typology).
Instead, I'll write some compliments that I received from friends in the past couple of years:
* "You have a magical charme -- you didn't know that?"
* "Your thoughts are beautiful..."

I like to voice good things and keep the bad things to myself -- and I'm looking for the company of similar people. I very much appreciate people who can enthuse about certain things. I like being able to appreciate what I have. I like the company of wise and good people, those I can learn from in terms of approach towards life and other people. I like people who look for values (rather than flaws) in others, and who are able to find and appreciate them. That may be what a quote by the poet Mihály Babits is about: "the one with a beatiful song in his soul will hear the others' song beautiful, too." Or in the words of Endre Gyökössy: "whatever I look at, that I am."

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm happy to meet good people from all over the world, guide them and show them around, even if I can't offer a couch at the moment (because I live with roommates). I'll be glad to accept couches in the future.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My only experience is surfing a couch in Poland in 2009, and it's a very good memory for me (and, based on the feedbacks, for my hosts as well).

兴趣

visiting cities in different places of the world, including South East Asia and others, linguistics, music (some classical and some pop), literature, architecture, maths and more

Among the sports: cycling and swimming (especially natural lakes)

Music: pieces by Prokofiev, Stravinsky and other composers from their times, as well as a few not especially modern pop songs

Books: The Neverending Story (Michael Ende), short stories by Borges, Wilde, Karinthy.
