Overview
About Me
Hello! My name is Adam, I'm a second generation Canadian, with a background in mechanical & materials engineering. I'm a big science geek who loves technology, but I'm not your typical nerd. I work with some really cool machines, including particle accelerators and electron microscopes. However, I like partying just as much as particle physics. Big into fitness (working out), sports (golf, baseball, hockey, squash, basketball, frisbee) and staying active. I would consider myself very adventurous, with a humorous personality, who enjoys all aspects of life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have surfed in Germany, Belgium, and Netherlands. It was awesome! I like to give back to the community by being a host.
--> If you're swinging by Port Elgin, Kincardine, Southampton, Saugeen Shores (lake Huron area) I might be able to host you. There's a massive beach 5min walk from my cottage! (yes I live in a cottage). It's a cool spot. I work during the weeks so you'll have to be up and out by 730am if you stay during the week.
A few rules:
1) MAX 2 night stay, weekends are preferred
2) I have room for 1-2 people depending (couch + extra bed)
3) Please don't come late and leave early, you can get a hotel for that!
Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy all tastes of music, where I mainly listen to electronic music, including: trance, progressive house, deep house, chill minimal, dubstep, trap, techno.
Also listen to rap and hip-hop occasionally. Even Classical in the right setting.
I don't read many novels, more science and technology publications.
Don't watch a whole lot of TV series, I do have Netflix, and I have seen: GoT, Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, Sons of Anarchy, Mr. Robot, Suits, House of Cards, Entourage, Law&Order, Friends, Simpsons, South Park, BoJack Horseman, and others...
Like all kinds of movies: action, history, comedy, thrillers, horror, dramas, etc..
--But would rather play PS4 or Xbox One (yes I have both)
