Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Travelling is one of the things that makes me feel alive and free(perhaps the most important one).I love(and therefore study) different languages,cultures and societies;I also love the feeling of communion and empathy I get when I can speak to people from different countries in different languages;it really makes me feel that we are somehow all similar,all human and that racism is the most absurd thing in existence. I would say these are the main reasons why I joined CS,together with a general curiosity towards basically anything and a passion for all kinds of food cooked by anyone in the world :D

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

At the age of 4,I convinced two 4 year-old friends to go visit my grandmother,who lived in a village 5 km away from where we lived.We went by foot without anyone knowing what we were doing.Of course when we got there and our parents found out they were really pissed and we got punished,but I like remembering about it because it makes me laugh and think I was a free spirit from the beginning:)
