About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To experience new things, broaden my horizon, connect to people and understand myself by understanding those that are different than me.

ABOUT ME

Me encanta conocer gente que habla Espanol o Portuguese!

I live in a shared apartment in the Tel Aviv/Ramat Gan border, with a nice roommate. I also have family in Eilat, and host people there at times.

I work in software development, and am busy with work Sunday to Thursday, most of the day.

I'm up for showing people around Tel-Aviv and Israel. I love adventures, travelling, nature, discovery. I am an avid nature party goer :)

I'm eco-aware and try to act in an environmentally friendly way whenever possible. However, I am not a vegetarian. I do support "Meat-less Monday" (and Wednseday) though.. soon I'll add Sunday too :)

I have a dream of doing a tattoo of the Little Prince. I probably never will, though..

I've been to a few places in Europe, Australia, the US. Also to China and the Seychelles.

On January 2013 I came back from on a trip in Latin America that started in January 2011, at Ushuaia, Argentina. Traveled in Argentina, Chile, Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador, the Galapagos (might as well be a different country =]) and Colombia.
And then in Central America: Panama, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras, El Salvador, Guatemala, Belize and Mexico. Finished with a month in the USA, trying to find the Latin communities there. :)

PHILOSOPHY

Life is temporary, everything is relative, and all that matters is our own personal frame of reference - to be good people in our own minds, to enjoy life, to be interested in the world, to question everything and find our own answers.

Bond with good people, share experiences, enjoy life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

By meeting new people and help spread understanding between different cultures.

I can teach about Israel, Hebrew, Judaism. I can help with fixing computers or doing Computer Science homework, programming lessons, etc. Can talk about Latin culture, Spanish, music..

I am a good cook (well, I think), especially Italian and Thai food, but I love just about everything. I would love to make something together, or cook for you. Israeli food as well..

I am pretty handy around the house, and would love to help with anything. I am good with kids (most of them anyways) and pets (love dogs!), so I might be able to entertain them to give you a breather. :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted various travelers but not through the CouchSurfing project.

I've also been part of student exchanges.

Met lots of people, stayed at various houses in my stay in Latin America.

Music, Movies, and Books

"La vita è bella" makes me cry every damned time.. but I love all kinds of movies, mostly ones that stay with you for days and weeks and months after.

Love many many kinds of music... from rock/metal to psytrance to classical to jazz to Israeli music, to experimental and instrumental music. And Latin music has really grown on me since I my big trip in Latin America.

As for books - I read just about everything and can remember just about nothing about it a year later. :)

Also, I love computer games. "Old school" computer games, anyways, that have a deep story, which draws you in and makes you think and FEEL. Like Final Fantasy 8.

Generally, I am a man of imagination, so movies, music and books are a major part of my life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
