Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I like to host, but a the moment I have only one room and can only offer my camping mat and a sleeping bag.
Attending some of the wonderfull organized cs events in Frankfurt is really fun so i try to go there from time to time.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My First couchsurfing experience I didn' t find by this site, rather by chance.

The first time I meet someone from another web community in a pub (Ankerklause) in Berlin and I planned to party all night long, but at some point I asked him if I could crash his couch. Totally drunk we went to his apartment and I slept on his couch.

Another time I came back from St. Gallen festival and stuck in Konstanz, because the train left the main station in front of my eyes. A guy who I met at the ticket machine and who i offered to join me on my group ticket also missed the train. I asked him if he know someone who lives in Konstanz and if I could stay there as well? He did some phone calls and we ended up in a nice house above the Bodensee with a wonderful view.

My last pre-couchsurfing.org experience was in New Zealand. I was on a trip to the north with a rented car. I picked up a hitchhiker and we talked a lot. He told me about Swedish girls who camped in his garden and because I had no plans where to stay I asked him if he has a couch for me. But this friendly guy from Samoa was even more than a simple host. He showed me his village and the beautiful beach. Later we went to another beach with low tide and we collected mussels for diner. It was an awesome start for my holidays.

Interests

I grew up in a town directly at the coast of the north Sea and it is very plain there. So I really like to be on the Top of everything. Well this box is not finished yet. haha.
