ABOUT ME

i am into history from all over the world and am an archaeology student in college!! i live with my wonderful husband near Seattle. im pretty much a home body but i love a good movie or concert. otherwise..we do medieval re-enactment so we go to lots of events on weekends through the spring, summer and fall. that takes up most of our time and money. we love history and right now are recreating middle eastern and viking era history.
we are always dreaming of traveling to new and exotic places

we love to meet new people from all over the world and id love to help out other budget minded travelers like myself!
im all about seeing the world and all the different people that live there. making new friends and seeing how others live and view the world is the most interesting thing to me!
new language, new culture...its all so interesting. your can learn so much from other people if you just open your mind and heart and see things from a different point of view.
i love to travel, eat local food, learn, love, sightsee, do the free things in a town and just 'be'.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

while in college in Indianapolis we had room, now we live near Seattle and simply dont have any room for anyone..we do have space on the floor but thats it.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

excellent!!!! so many good times with my new friends...ive hosted a bunch of people from canada that come in for gencon...other than that, i would love to be able to host more people!

Interests

world travel, sightseeing, good food, being in the moment, watching the landscape go by in a train or a car, reading, going to live events (concerts, book readings, festivals) kicking back and enjoying where im at, medieval history and recreating it through the sca at those events. making people laugh and smile!

music: i love all music really especially rock and soft rock but also classical and celtic.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Graduated college with a bachelors degree in anthropology, now we live near seattle and are getting back in shape to hike and swim and explore!
climbed pico duarte in dominican republic and watched the setting sun go across haiti.
watched the wild parrots fly across the jungle canopy and played in the clean mountain stream close by.

my husband and i backpacked all over europe for 3 months and went everywhere from prague, to switerland, germany, paris, amsterdam, england and ireland... it was all so amazing and the best part really was the people!
