Hey there!

I'm Afshin. I'm pretty new to couch surfing (just joined June 2018).

A little bit about me:

I have studied petroleum and mechanical engineering and I'm studying MBA in marketing, besides the university, I'm working as a management consultant and sometimes as an engineer!
I live in Tehran, capital of Iran, one of the most ancient and beautiful countries in the world.

I'm very easy going and laid back. my face is signed by smile :)

I have a small but nice and clean apartment with good access to the metro.

I love to go out, stay up late, be outside, and want to explore and enjoy life as much as I can for how long I've got it.

PHILOSOPHY

Since I was young I've always felt the desire to randomly start to talk to strangers on the street while being abroad, to get to know what they feel and what's on their mind. If we each get to know one another just a little bit, our similarities will be striking.

I open my door and my mind to a project on the global movement of people.

If you want to stay with me, please let me know why you want to stay (e.g. like to check out a gallery, a place to eat, running in the park).

I host people who are interested in getting to know one another and while I'm often busy it's always cool to share a meal or drink while exchanging travel experiences.

My expectation is that it is the same as staying with a new friend - if you're just after a place to sleep or a place to stash your bags a hostel or AirB& B might be a better option.

MUSIC: Rather than name bands/artists, I'm just gonna go with genres: jam bands/anything improvisational (if you like bands like Phish or Grateful Dead we’ll probably get along haha), classic rock, disco, soul, hip-hop, electro, house, jazz, reggae, classical, Spanish guitar.
