CURRENT MISSION Traveling and climbing, experiencing many new things and people. ABOUT ME I built my bike frame up for a tour. The original plan was Texas to Alaska. It ended up being Dallas to Stillwater, OK. Though, I just got the Alaska bug again. I want to plan it for Spring 17'. I would prefer to spend most of my free time climbing, sometimes that doesn't always work though. I spent two summers in Yosemite working and climbing and then moved to Mammoth Lakes to work at a ski resort and make some real money in the winter. Since then I have been traveling through S.E. Asia. I also moved to Colorado for 2 months but I am now back in Texas. I plan on traveling quite a bit more and living in quite a few more places. I love being in new places, and would like to do a bit more internationally. Long term I want to settle in somewhere close to climbing, so maybe Colorado, California or even overseas. Who knows? More free diving, my current best is 21 meters. PHILOSOPHY "Just be, asshole."

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I have stayed on a few couches and plan on staying on many more. I now have my own place that isn't my van so I am hosting while I can. CS is not about free couches, it's about free people.
Music, Movies, and Books
Right now on my Kindle I am reading everything R. A. Salvatore, Sit Down and Shut Up (a book about Dogen's Shobogenzo) and 1984, just got done with Gifts of Imperfection and it was amazing, along with Hardcore Zen Strikes Again. A couple of books on climbing and free diving as well. Bob Marley, Avett Brothers, Radical Face, Frank Turner, Electric President, DeVotchka, Lana Del Rey, Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers, Old 97's, Emancipator, Muse, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, Cannibal OX, The Killers, Iron and Wine, Mumford & Sons, Modest Mouse, KRS-ONE, Capital City, Tchaikovsky, Tribe Called Quest, Tallest Man on Earth, Explosions in the Sky......This list could go on forever.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
500 mile bike tour in a cold, wet, sometimes icy and incredibly windy February.
Teach, Learn, Share
We can climb. I can teach you how to cook. If you cycle I've got extra bikes. I know lotsa stuff, just ask me. I really want to learn German!
What I Can Share With Hosts
I have a couch in an efficiency in the heart of Dallas. There is a partial wall separating the bed from living area. I'm about a ten minute walk to the train.
