Hey couchsurfers! I am very much excited about joining this wonderful community. I feel I was already part of it and I just needed to sign up! I'm looking forward to all the sharing that's coming ahead. Life us sharing, isn't it? :D

Travelling, for me, is like singing for birds. They just like to sing and I would love to travel! I can't stand the idea of spending my whole life in one place in which I haven't chosen to be. Beginning from the fact that I didn't have a saying in who my parents are(It doesn't mean I don't love them - it just means they could be one of a different billion couples. Imagine!) or where and when I was born to what language I learned first and what kind of education I got or belief system I was told was "the right one". Nobody chooses at first, of course, but that's the reason why I think I should travel before I decide to settle somewhere and be at peace with some sort of a life, right? Most of my life until around the age of 20 was determined by someone other than myself, and surely the effect of the kind of experience I went through during those first couple of decades will last for long; however, contemplating the infinite possibilities of what I could be through travel, living a thousand lives, meeting a million souls, wondering a billion thoughts, feeling endless emotions, will definitely be an eye-opening experience which could have a great positive impact on the course of my life and, undoubtedly, the life of others with whom I'll be sharing my experience. Therefore, travel is the choice I'm now making about the way through which I want to get to know who I really am, to understand the basic whatever it actually is about what I call "I", and I think I can never do this alone without others who'll help me explore myself through them and I believe couchsurfing is just the way to do it!

During my pursuit of purpose in life, I wanted once to achieve a better understanding of the world through my daily life observations, then a few years later I thought I should experience diversity in balance and harmony, but after a while I figured out that the experience of life is harmonious, balanced and diverse, regardless of what we call "imperfections"; it simply wouldn't exist otherwise, then my purpose turned out to be just to enjoy this magnificent happening called life, to live! I believe that's a great purpose, and I've made up my mind to do it by travelling, and couchsurfing is a great way to meet people and experience their lives as they are along the way!

I am inspired by the sight of wild geese disappearing behind the clouds or the sinking sun in the horizon, by the sound of the crackling fire in a furnace or running water in a stream, by the smell of the soil when it rains for the first time in a while or the food someone’s cooking after a long day of fasting, by the taste of the tomatoes from our own little organic farm or a warm cup of tea after a long day of work, by the feel of soil in my hand or wind on my body.

I am inspired by the sparkling eyes of a tired smiling face,
By the wild hungry mind,
By the fallen trying to stand,
By whatever new and different place.
