Overview
About Me
I talk to strangers on the bus every day
Love tongue-in-cheek and dad jokes
Don’t mind cheesiness and kitsch
Letting go is a virtue to be practiced
I don't like you if you look down on others
Fascinated by vastness, complexity, and overwhelmingness; Enjoys simplicity and calm.
.
To me, you could be as honest as you want.
The more extreme the frankness, the more I'll look up to you.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It's a perfect way to get to know a place through its people rather than its tickets.
Love the way you learn more about your own culture and behavior when being around others. You know, the way different groups of people have different vibes – different lingo, different customs, ways of showing affection, humour, taste in music and art, etc – and how you take your own for granted until you spend time with others.
Interests
I love philosophy. French unreadables, dry analytic westerners and eastern-influenced spirituality.
Hiking, Jamming, Sports, Art exhibitions, Going out - whatever, throw it at me
Never been arsed to watch sports, but if you have the patience to make me I’ll have the enthusiasm.

Music, Movies, and Books
Not definite:
Kurt Vile, John Martyn, Tame Impala
70's jazz fusion like Mahavishnu, Return to forever
Yung Lean, A$AP rocky
Tech house mixes
Whatever my spotify algorithm picks out for me (they have damn good tips)
I enjoy equally soft, kind and inviting things as well as evil and badass stuff, in style, design, feel, music... But I can't handle horror flicks.
If I read books its non-fictional philosophy or science. But as any other idiot I want to do the classics.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Any aspect of myself that I wanted to change for the better as a kid, I did and keep doing. The younger me would be so proud right now:-)
Less amazing is getting kicked out of a club and losing my bike in Amsterdam. The days.
Teach, Learn, Share
I could teach you how to a cheesy solo with an electric guitar. I could show you the extremely simple task of meditation and why it's so cool and underrated. I could teach you Swedish (for whatever reason you'd want to learn that for). I could support you in changing your (lack of) exercise and dieting habits if you'd wish for that.
Most of all, we could have a laugh.
