ABOUT ME

My main interest is food - cooking, eating and drinking are mostly what's on my mind. I'm really into organic food and the sustainability of the food that I eat. In our garden we are trying to grow lots of the food we eat. We have a big veg patch a greenhouse, lots of fruit trees and of course the chickens for all our egg needs!

I live with three of my friends, who I've know since school (too long now!)

I work at Salisbury Foodbank, and am involved with a programme teaching people on low incomes cookery and budgeting skills.

So far I've only had the opportunity to host, but next time I go travelling, I'd like to try surfing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It's always great to get home from work and there be an interesting person in the house to spend time with!

I like cooking and having people round from different countries I've found to be a great way to learn different culinary techniques.

I did my degree in history, so if you're interested in the annexation of Hawaii, I might be able to teach you something!

Whenever we have couch surfers stay, I always find myself learning something! Hopefully people can learn something from staying with us too!
