Overview
About Me
Halo, I'm Dil.
I am an easy-going, smiley old soul who strongly believes in treating others the way you wish to be treated. Respectful as I like to be given respect too (not in return, but that is merely the way I am), I am of a calm personality. I can either be a listener or a learner trying to remain wise, I take time for reflecting before making a decision, and I am pleased to respect others surrounding me. I am an excellent and flexible character in my way of being. I love traveling and the opportunity to meet like-minded people from all over the world. I speak English, but I am not fluent, so I am keen to take every opportunity to practice with people that I would meet. I enjoy discovering places with the best food, understanding the story behind a building/ place I visit. I like to get out there and be one with nature, and I have recently picked up photography. I love photography, but I can't say I'm that good at it at the moment (currently looking into improving this). Photography tips are more than welcome! And hope to build on that skill.
I am tidy, respectful, communicative, and enjoy meeting new fun people. Spread Love rather than hate. See you soon~
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am new to the Couchsurfing but have heard great things from the internet about it. A large part of traveling for me has been about meeting people and sharing some moments in their lives. I want to keep meeting new people with the energy and curiosity for travel and trying new things, which is why I am on here. I love hearing and sharing stories, talking about a broad range of subjects, and I am passionate about understanding people and finding the things that connect us.
and yes, "Travel Like a Local!"

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Travel. It sounds so simple, but it is truly one amazing thing I have done and will continue to do.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach or introduce my native culture, such as everyday life, language, or a little show how to cook fried rice/Nasi Goreng (the most delicious food number 2 in the world from Indonesia *CNN's version), and everything else who makes you wonder about it.
Surely I will learn whatever the host/friends teach me, such as determining the language in which I visit, hearing experiences that are told and memetic the lessons, learning the culture, and new things that I have never gotten on my life.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My smile, my tidiness, and my wisdom. Pleasant stay, Life stories, passions, conversations, interests. Some silly tales of the past, some great moments in the present, and some fantastic ideas for the future. Then, of course, some good drinks and food, if they are welcome.
I could teach you some basic guitar, or singing? I don't mind cooking for hosts and share some of my free time in the evening for talk.
