Overview
About Me
Aviation, sky, and space have always fascinated me—I’m an amateur astronomer, a passionate hiker, and someone who enjoys diving into philosophy and literature.
If you love trying new flavors, I’d be happy to cook some Iranian dishes for you—at least the way my mom used to make them! 😊
I spent eight years as a real rocket scientist, working on actual space projects (yes, I guess that makes me a bit of a nerd, but hopefully the cool kind!). Later, I transitioned into the business world, spending another eight years in advertising, so chances are we’ll find something interesting to talk about.
Now, standing at the threshold of my fourth decade, I’ve returned to academia for a new adventure. I'm currently pursuing my second master’s degree in mechatronics in Hamburg—recharging, growing, and embracing new experiences along the way.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’ve been a passionate traveler for years—exploring the breathtaking nature and historical cities of Iran with the enthusiasm of a child. But now, for the first time, I’m stepping beyond my home country to experience Europe.
With time on my hands between my studies, I’m eager to travel as much as possible, not just to see places but to truly immerse myself in the soul and culture of this part of the world.
Couchsurfing, for me, isn’t just about finding a place to stay—it’s about connecting with people, sharing experiences, and seeing the world through the eyes of locals. I’m here to meet fellow travelers and open-minded hosts who can give me the honor of knowing them and sharing moments together. After all, it’s the human experience that makes every journey truly special.

Music, Movies, and Books
I’m not picky when it comes to music, movies, or books—I believe everything is worth exploring. If someone has invested their time, energy, or money into creating something, then there’s probably something valuable in it, or at the very least, something they deeply believed in. That’s why I try to keep an open mind and experience as much as I can.
I’m one of those people who walks into a bookstore and immediately feels a deep regret that life is too short to read all these books, watch all these movies, and listen to all this music. So, choosing just a few favorites is tough!
That said, I admire the works of Charles Bukowski, Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, Romain Gary, and Jostein Gaarder. In cinema, I appreciate the storytelling of Gus Van Sant, Lars von Trier, David Lynch, Krzysztof Kieślowski, Abbas Kiarostami, and Asghar Farhadi. As for music—play something, and I’ll gladly listen!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I’ve launched monkeys into space… Really. 😃 It’s a long story—one that probably requires a few cups of coffee (or wine, you can choose) and a willing listener. If you're curious, I’d be happy to share it!
Teach, Learn, Share
I’ve given lectures on space, rocket science, and astronomy, as well as on making science more accessible to everyone. I also have a deep interest in philosophy—though I don’t have an academic background in it, I’ve spent countless hours exploring it. And fair warning: if you don’t stop me, I can talk about these topics for hours! 😄
When it comes to learning, I’m open to anything—whether it’s your way of cooking, your favorite dish, or even your language. But if I had to pick one thing, I’d say I’ve always wanted to get better at playing the harmonica. I carry mine with me everywhere, but I’m still not very good. So if you can teach me a thing or two, I’d appreciate it endlessly!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I’d be happy to help with cooking—or anything else that’s within my power! Whether it’s sharing stories, exchanging ideas, or lending a hand with whatever’s needed, I believe every experience is more meaningful when we contribute and connect.
