Really grown from the experience of living and participating in another culture and country and am soaking up all that I can. Now have time to be more environmentally aware, grow our own vegetables, some fruit, keep chickens, expand our minds by travel

ABOUT ME

Grabbed early retirement with both hands and moved to Spain the very next day! But how did I end up here???
Always wanted to be a teacher and loved almost every minute of that time of my life. You can learn so much FROM the young people you encounter.......Took a very shaky step out of that comfort zone to open a small restaurant (I had NO experience of catering other than for family and friends)on the west coast of Scotland and from there moved on to buying a hotel in the south west of Scotland. I had never pulled a pint until we opened for business so, once again, a steep learning curve!I had never worked such long hours and during the school holiday times too!
