Hello! My name is AJ. I'm a 22 year old "college kid" who has decided to take some time off to see the world.

I've grown up in Lincoln, NE my entire life. I grew up with my three sisters here. I got my Eagle Scout here. I've made friends here and I've lost friends here. I've had jobs. I've had fun. But it's time to see more! Meet new people! See new places!

After hours upon hours of searching through hostel websites and seeing the expensive rates and the bad reviews I thought this route might be cheaper, easier, and more fun!

I have many friends who have done it and they all told me I should get on it. I was hesitant because I wouldn't want to feel like a burden or a disruptance towards anybody. But then I thought "People want to host" and "I'm a helpful handy guy who could pull my weight if anyone needed help with anything!" so I've decided to take the leap and get on here!

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

I grew up as a rock child, my favorite band being System of a Down. Lately though my tastes have mellowed out and I'm much more into the softer alternative rock. New bands all just sound the same nowadays, except for a few. Maybe I'm just not looking hard enough. I generally enjoy all genres of music though. Country's iffy for me but some it it's alright.

Hmm... well I have my Eagle Scout. It's pretty much the thing I'm most proud of.

But... geez, I can't really think of anything. Great, now I feel like a loser who hasn't done anything! Maybe that's why I'm traveling!

I'm a Yes-Man, especially when somebody is doing something for me!

I'm GREAT with kids! My mom has an at-home daycare that I worked at pretty much since I could hold a child. Even after moving out I still come over just to help out and play with the babies! They're so adorable and they're the future! After getting my Psychology degree I'd love to go into Child Psychology.

I enjoy physical labor, honestly. It's a good workout and it's easy!

I can sing, play the violin. I'm very knowledgable when it comes to the outdoors.

I can be a very social person! If you just want a friend I can be one :) I'm very easy to talk to and I'm very unjudgemental. If you're shy I might be able to help with that! I'm great at seeing the best in people and I love bringing it out of them!
