Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I don't really care if you are Black, White, homo, bi, tri, less than 18 or over 50 as long as you know how to smile.

Got no references? Idc either, drop me a line if you feel the vibe. 🌌

Couchsurfing consists of real people, rather than mere social accounts. It has a authentic vibe and its severely cool.
Following are my CS reasons-
1) Human perspective
Each one sees the world in a different way. I'd love to know how you see it.
2) Hosting and Surfing
You don't visit a place. You experience it. What's better than living with a local and experiencing the place?
Hey, forget about traveling for the moment okay, CS provides you an opportunity to live with a stranger. Severely cool, right?
3) Money
Accomodation in Amsterdam is EXPENSIVE.
Saves some bucks.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Just one?

1) I escaped a bear attack on a solo hike. I played dead, else I'd be dead.
2) I've lived for 40 days on the Himalayas without any contact with the outside world whatsoever
3) Driving the Bolero from Bangalore to Ajmer.
4) I once went riding my bike(my Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350cc) all night long in the rain to attend my friend's wedding the next morning. (Sounds straight out of a movie)
5) I lost 36 kilos. From 110 to 74.
6) Sex in the woods (WHAT? :/ it was fckn euphoric)
7)Guns N' Roses. I saw them live. Best night ever.
8) 33 day minibus trip around Germany-Poland-Russia.
9)Lucky to be featured in official videos of DGTL, TomoLand and Best Kept Secret music festivals =D I'm just wicked right?
10)Viewing the Arctic Lights from underneath a glass Igloo. Norway 2017.
11)Capturing a tiger hunt scene - with NatGeo team from a man-made bunker. Mudumalai Tiger Reserve, India.
12) May 27, 2019 : I ate breakfast in Istanbul, lunch in Barcelona and dinner in Marrakech. Three continents in one day, beat that baby.
13)June 25, 2019 : Saw TOOL perform in Zürich.

Teach, Learn, Share

Before talking about what i can share i would like to point something:

l receive lots of requests especially in summer.Back in the day i answered all of them, till i realize i took me too much of my time, almost like a job. So
i decided not to answer all of them, so please, dont take it personally if i dont answer. I repeat it again, dont take it personally. Or do it. Whatever suits you.

If you plan to come here to AMS to party hard (quite usual btw) i'm not exactly the hardcore partymate you are looking for, I like it smooth.

There is a thin red line between the choice of couchsurfing because this way you meet local people blabla and the obvious choice of not to pay
anything for your stay, especially here in AMS where the prices are really high on the season. I'd say a nice balance between this is the art of it. I hosted
many people, many of them with their opinions about the "couchsurfing philosophy", alternative life blabla, and in the end it was just about the roof and the WiFi.

Now i get both approaches. Really. I'm not that different. I love the idea of that. Just want to say that there are different ways to balance the energy in the
universe, not only money. Yes, we all have interesting histories to tell, and thats always welcome. But
words don't pay bills or helps with the everyday life. Say "hey ash, i will take you for dinner" "we are goin' shopping, do u want something?" "do you want a massage?". Come on, you're way better than this :D xx

Share - my house, a bed, some small talk, some big talk, a lift, jokes, boring moments, food, a walk, a visit to a nice place, going out if it happens, positive energy when available, or even discuss about hypothetical situations.

mmm and other stuff, like man and woman the eternal mistery, love, geek stuff related with music and recording, if you play an instrument i would love
to play with you or just enjoy your performance.

Even moments of silence we can share. Romantic and/or psychadelic moments are also welcome of course! 🎇
