Overview
About Me
I've been out of school and into my career for a little while now, finally starting to feel like I'm settling into Real Adult Life. I'm enjoying the regular sleep schedule! But I'm missing having a whole community of interesting weirdos at my fingertips.
Otherwise, I guess I'm just like any other Young Professional Millennial -- still excited about my career choices, still trying to figure out how people make friends in the real world, still trying to check things off the "before I have kids" bucket list.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm mostly here to host: My parents bought me a futon so they could stay with me when they visit rather than paying for a hotel every time. It's a good system, but they only visit a few times a year. I'm on here because the futon has been looking lonely!
And maybe also to surf: I haven't needed to yet (usually I'm going places where I know someone already), but surely someday I'll want a couch to crash on!
Interests
I love what I do (product development), I have lots of little artsy projects (right now I'm on silver soldering), and I try to get outside as often as possible. Although I haven't really figured out what people do in the winter... (I didn't have this problem in Southern California!) For the past year I've been rock climbing nearly constantly, I'm completely addicted.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorites change almost daily, but I'm always a big fan of Augie March (a lovely Aussie band, excellent lyrics), Airplane! (clearly the best movie of all time), and Cat's Cradle (if only for the graphic design of the jacket).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I don't know about amazing, but I've moved across the country several times now! The second-to-last time I moved, my mom and I did a two-week long road trip, climbing in as many states as we could get our chalky little hands on.
Countries I’ve Visited
Canada, Costa Rica, England, France, Japan, Mexico, Puerto Rico
Countries I’ve Lived In
United States
