Why? Because it allows me to expand the field of the travelling experience; by using Couchsurfing I can actually meet people from the place I visit, and not only see them on the streets, they can share with me their love for their city/town; they can also enlight my look on the place by exposing me to some cultural and historical informations. I can do the same, even if I'm far from home. All the innucuous things that can be shared and said with someone who knows a city are priceless. It's the human experience that brings me on Couhsurfing.
