About Me

I'm a young actor who tries to learn more and more about life through meeting new people and their respective cultures. I would say that travel is my passion, but i haven't done it too much yet, so i can only say that i'd love to find out if it is so -and it pretty seems so!-

Sharing knowledge, values, and experiences are some of the things i really love to do. I firmly believe that people can build a better world just knowing themselves better and trying ot understand others, with no judgement. I can't stand the hypocrisy shown in the news about certain tough politic-social situations.

I would really love to host people, but I currently live with my whole family, so i just can't. My fault.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When i was a kid i wanted to become an explorer and live adventures around the world, meeting incredible people and seeing amazing places. Too much Verne, I guess. I had always wanted to travel, but i never knew how to do it as I dreamed. And I never dared. Then, I met my adorable life partner, whom discovered me this way of travelling and meeting nice people, and now i can't do anything but embrace it and share it with her.

Interests

I'm open to anything you can offer me, specially culturally speaking.

I love cooking, though i'm not a specialist. One thing that may be interesting about me is that i've been practising kung-fu since i was 4, and other kinds of martial arts; but i can't stand fights. However, it gives me enough "cool-mind-ness" to avoid any confrontation. Currently i work as a fitboxing trainer.

Acting is my passion, and the thing i want to dedicate my life to. I specially love theatre, and i'm trying really hard to improve my -almost none- culture about films.

I really, really love singing too, and playing piano, and i like to investigate how some song are constructed and thus how affect those who listen to them, touching the feelings.

Music, Movies, and Books

I recently discovered that i love jazz. Its complexity, its profussion, its sound. Anyhow, I like from classical music to rock, particularly folklore music and Asian sounds; musicals songs and, whatever I can feel on the inside.

I really feel that I couldn't talk about movies without making an impertinence to filming art, but I really like those that make you think or reflect about what you've seen, particullarly about social happenings or human thoughts. I can't stand action movies with only broken glasses and explosions.

And well, reading is my shield. From Flaubert to Lovecraft, from Hesse to Dostoievsky. I almost only read classics. I like poetry too, particullarly English and Spanish, and i could tell that one of my favourite books is "Orland", from Virginia Woolf. I also try to know the max. i can about Spanish authors, for I believe that it is very important to know about your own written culture.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I saved a fish from throttle. Once. And I achieved to burst in flames the kitchen making cereals. Nah, seriously, I think I can only say that I helped to rebuild and old, historic ship -and now I'm part of a crew!-

I've also took part in many movie sets, and in one in particular I almost broke the entire take because I shot when I hadn't have to. I was terribly nervous.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can try to learn whatever you would like to teach me. And i'll do my best for sharing everything I can so I make others to grow up. I can teach self-defence, kung-fu's phyloshopical way of thinking, some singing concepts, acting (I love to talk about all kind of literature, as well), and all my knowledge -that it isn't much- in languages, from Spanish to Chinese. I can offer to teach how to read Spanish verse!
