Overview
About Me
I'm a 21 year boy from Barcelona.
Now I'm on my last year of a grade in biology. For me it's really interesting, I want to work as scientific researcher in a close future.
But the grade is not everything, as I explain in the lower lines, there's much more to explain about me.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have always been interested in traveling and learning from new cultures. Couchsurfing brings many chances for doing that.
Interests
Besides my biology grade I have lots of interests. The main one is music.
I have been playing the piano since I was 7 and on that time I have been able to learn many kinds of music: jazz, funk, flamenco, brazilean, tango, ... And I have many to learn yet.
Also, I am realy interested in meditation. I started practicing meditation when I was 16 and since then I have been searching for the different ways in which meditation is present in different cultures. Nowadays I'm practicing zen soto meditation.
Finally, I really enjoy traveling. Since many years I spend at least one month every summer traveling alone, usually mixing the traveling with volunteering projects.

Music, Movies, and Books
About music I could be talking for ages. As I said before I like many music styles, my favourite musicians go from Pink Floyd to Bill Evans or Stevie Wonder.
About cinema I really like films like The Godfather, The Silence Of The Lambs or The Big Lebowsky. I also like a lot the Woody Allen films from the 70's.
About books I must say that I'm not a great reader. From my favourite books I must highlight 100 Years Of Lonelyness, from Gabriel Garcia Marquez, and The Ashes Of Angela, from Frank McCourt.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Volunteering in an orphanage in Sri Lanka for disabled girls.
Walking the Camino de Santiago, from France to Finisterre.
Many volunteer workcamps arround europe.
Teach, Learn, Share
I really enjoy learning from the new people I meet. I always keep in mind the anecdotes from all the people that I met in my travels, which most of them were really different to me.
So, if I can play the same role for other people I will be very pleased.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Whethever the hosts want, since a music performance to explaining how does cannabis heal some diseases.
