About Me

Greetings fellow travelers! 👋 Currently, I'm soaking up the sun on a well-deserved break after seven amazing years navigating the diverse countries of South America. My latest escapade led me to live and work in the Peruvian Amazon, where I'm dedicated to assisting local communities.

I'm a bundle of energy and optimism, always up for lively chats about general culture, travels, and more. At the moment, I call the Peruvian jungle home, residing in native villages and communities. These unique experiences are not just adventures but also opportunities to make a positive impact.

When I'm not on the road, I work as a community psychologist, focusing particularly on gender violence within the Awajun ethnic community. Additionally, I'm passionate about academic research to preserve the rich Awajún culture.

If you share a passion for exploration and community engagement, I'd love to connect! 🤝✨

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Connecting with people from different countries, exploring diverse customs and lifestyles, visiting countries and off-the-beaten-path places, and honing my language and communication skills. It's an enriching experience that goes beyond traditional tourist destinations! 😊

Interests

My time is divided between my passion for nature and animals (whenever I can, I enjoy spending time observing and connecting); I love music, research, reading, adopting healthy habits, discovering curiosities, and listening to fascinating anecdotes.

Lately, I've noticed a trend where many hosts only accept females, and some even select based on specific criteria for women (which I find absurd and sexist). In my opinion, Couchsurfing is losing its essence of intercultural exchange. Diversity, for me, is the essence of the experience! Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy music in general, but I'm particularly drawn to non-commercial music and various forms of rock.

I'm passionate about movies, especially psychological ones that have the power to stir the mind and provoke deep reflection.

When it comes to reading, I immerse myself primarily in research books, especially through Google Scholar, as I am currently focused on my doctoral studies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Now im proud to work and live in Amazonas departament Perú Perú with native communities (jungle) from 4 years and i dont finish my work there. just traveling in holidays.

Teach, Learn, Share

Currently, I take pride in working and living in the Amazonas Department in Peru, collaborating with native communities in the jungle for the past 5 years. My work is ongoing, and even during my holidays, I continue to travel to sustain this meaningful endeavor.

What I Can Share with Hosts

*If hosts have the time or the inclination, I can bring engaging conversations, fascinating stories, diverse knowledge, enriching experiences, tourist recommendations, and insights into cultural differences. And, of course, plenty of laughter and funny moments!

Moreover, I can put my hands and my brain to work to assist with anything you might need. I'm not just looking for a free bed; my aim is to contribute in any way possible. Genuine collaboration and connection are what I value most! 😊*
