Overview
About Me
I grew up last in an Acadien family of six children. I like to have people around, sharing meals with friends is my favorite activity, if you can call eating an activity.
I have a big garden from which I may harvest some wholesome food to add to the favored activity.
I have been lucky enough to raise four great children, in a wonderful community on Hornby Island, one of the gulf northern Gulf islands. The are almost all now at the age to fly away, and I may soon have a lot more rooms available.
I have been living there for 21 years now .
I share this place and my heart with an amazing woman, who loves music, even more than I do. She also like to share a meal with lovely people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have a really good friend of mine on Couchsurfer, that regularely drop by with fellow surfers... so much that I thought I should join this network.
I live on a small remote island that attracts visitors from around the world for its beautiful and quiet moments.
Interests
I garden for the previously mentioned glorious food and I volunteer on the local fire\rescue department. and I also volunteer on the local radio station.
Music, Movies, and Books
I have been producing this radio show for more than 6 years now, called "that 80's show", where I am the co-host. so I love to listen or talk about obscure 80's band.
other than that, I'm a sucker for a lot of the music from my home land, Québec.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm usually a busy person.
For money, I work in my metal shop, creating functional art, or I landscape clients proprety if I don't manage their whole proprety.
