Hello! I am a 24 y/o originally from the US. I'm very relaxed and easy-going but do a lot during my days. Calm energy. Easy to get along with, adaptive and genuine curiosity about people and the world. In my FREE TIME I hike, juggle, practice yoga, do a bit of calligraphy, read poetry and books and spend time with friends and family. Pura vida. I am currently learning Spanish and French and hope to learn Mandarin in the near future.

Nice question, couchsurfing. Really like older school hip hop/rap from everywhere (US, UK, Brazilian, French). Grew up on Rock and Roll and Blues. Bit of house dirt. Fav artists - Nas, Jurassic 5, Gangstarr, Mos Def, Led Zep, Sonny Boy Williams, Four Tet, Paul Simon, Alt-J, Fleet Foxes, Vampire Weekend, Otis Redding, Com Truise, Bob Marley, Arcade Fire Also love a bit of spoken word and slam poetry. Is that music? Sure. Kate Tempest right now. Films are harder. Difficult to name a genre. Laugh/cry/think. Watch more fringe stuff these days. Really like documentaries as well. Fav films: Life is Beautiful, Melancholia, Human, The Prestige, Synecdoche New York, Apocolypse Now, Big Lebowski, Forrest Gump, Eternal Sunshine, Pulp Fiction, Crash, Training Day, Good, Bad Ugly Books - Fiction is mainly mystical fiction and older literature but read a lot of nonfiction and short stories these days. Also really like reading poetry (wish I could write it)! Favorite Books: Shantaram, Musashi, The Alchemist, The Ascent of Humanity, A Brief History of Nearly Everything, Sacred Economic, Systems View of Life Poetry - Rumi, Oswald, Ginsberg, Yeats

My Interests
Love to be outdoors. Been through yoga teaching classes and can teach it if people are interested. Like reading poetry and telling/hearing stories. Been juggling for a few years and find it a really nice way to get a sense of the body and switch off the mind. Worked as a chef and love cooking. Generally always happy to learn new things and teach anything I know!
