About Me
Hi there! I'm Ale (pronounced ah-leh) and it is short for the Spanish name Alejandra. I was born and raised in Mexico City and have been living in the United States for the last 7 years, where I both studied university and subsequently worked.
At the beginning of August 2016, I undertook a one year sabbatical to travel the world. I began my adventure in Mexico and am currently traveling through Europe during the spring. Easy-going and really flexible, I love going with the flow of what is happening. My favorite things to do are to meet new people and share experiences with them. One of my favorite mottos is: be where your feet are. I try to repeat this motto to mysel everyday like a mantra, trying to embrace living in the preset and not worrying about what tomorrow will bring.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am new to the Couchsurfing community and was introduced to it by a friend of mine. It has been through Couchsurfing that I have met the most incredible people and had the most rewarding experiences. I find the folks in this community to be warm, welcoming, and friendly.
