I began to travel after completing my degree in 2024. I have never experienced travelling in my own country (Canada), so I set off from Ontario to explore beautiful British Columbia and Alberta, primarily in the Rocky Mountains. Coinciding with my degree in sports science, I love hiking, swimming, snowboarding, and just generally being outside. I am currently travelling Japan after doing a winter ski season in Niseko!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on couchsurfing because I met a girl travelling in Japan in a hostel. Her stories of using this app were incredible and made me want to sign up right away! I would love to meet people locally while travel and also be able to give something back in return.

I am currently reading The Memoirs of A Geisha as I am travelling in Japan.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I hiked a volcano in Guatemala and that was probably the most difficult hike I have done but it was incredible and absolutely worth the struggle.

I used to be a swim instructor so I have experience working with children. I grew up in a house with lots of pets so I love animals and have a general idea of how to take care of them.
