Hi all,
I'm a 22 year old recent graduate setting out on a backpacking adventure across Thailand, Cambodia, and Nepal in the next three months. On my trip I hope to explore temples, beaches, and my love for yoga! I enjoy any and everything outdoors including hiking, kayaking, mountain climbing, scuba diving, and am always down to try anything new and exciting. Botanical gardens and art museums are my happy place. I love most types of music and will see any band live (especially if they're quirky). In my career, I hope to work for nonprofit organizations and continue my work with the American Cancer Society (an organization I've volunteered with for the past 5 years). I love meeting and talking with new people, learning about their experiences and perspectives!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'll be moving to Denver in August and will be in the area May 18-20 apartment hunting. I'm a tidy, polite, friendly guest and can't wait to meet you! I think couchsurfing is a great way for me to meet people in the Denver area before I move, and that it will give me a unique perspective on life there that I wouldn't gain from a hostel or airbnb.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travelled solo through Madrid and Lisbon on a tight budget, lived with a host family in Costa Rica to improve my Spanish, and I have practiced yoga for almost 6 years! (couldn't pick just one)

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm willing to learn, teach, and share (almost) anything.

I have experience in music; vocal (show choir) and instrumental (oboe, piano, ukulele). I love musical theatre and am an experienced director, my current favorite is the Book of Mormon.

I love to cook and can teach you some mean green vegan recipes!

I will be happy to teach you how to get into fun yoga poses like friend of the universe, hand/forearm/headstand, and compass pose. I'm currently working on my splits and can show you how to stretch yours too!
