About Me

Well, it's too hard to define a person in such a small space. Moreover I find really complicated to determine how I am, I do change a lot depending on days and situations.
🧠Neurospicy🧠
Sometimes I'm cheerful, sometimes I'm cloudy.
Sometimes I'm sociable, sometimes I'm introverted.
I wish I could say "sometimes" I'm childish, but actually I'm childish most of the time, but I've worked hard to find again my childhood into me, so I want to hold on to it.
But I can be also a good host and travelling companion, so don't panic (:
I like taking pictures, but unfortunately only with my mobile, but I will buy a camera as soon as possible. I'm literally obsessed with symmetry.
I love to travel around cities looking for street art, and I love walking into nature looking for a different kind of art, charming as well.
Sometimes I write, sometimes I paint, I like singing even if I'm not good at it. I absolutely love reaing, I couldn't imagine my life without books.

Sometimes I like to go party, but I'm not a party animal, and I don't like clubs, I prefer pubs or places in which you can talk with the person who's in front of you without need of screaming. I like also hiking, trekking and slacklining, and singing (badly lol).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

This text I found online describes it perfectly:
"When I say I want to travel, I don't mean I want to stay at fancy resorts or buy keychains from souvenir shops. When I say I want to travel, I mean I want to explore another place and become part of it. I want to discover coffeeshops and hidden streets in Europe. I want to hike mountains and walk along quiet beaches. I want to meet people who are not like me, but people I can like all the same. I want to photograph the people and places I see. I want my mind to be in constant awe of life on Earth. I want to see things with new eyes. I want to look at a map and be able to remember how I was transformed by the places I have been to, the people I have met and the things I have seen.
This, I think, is what is at the heart of adventure and that is exactly why I plan on making my life one."
In this period of my life I've been really nomad, and it was good to see that you can leave something to the people you met as well. It's not only sharing, sometimes you can deeply influence life of people around you. I like this idea.

Interests

I love reading, watching films and TV series, singing, sharing my musical preferences and explore anything that's new to me, whether it's a city, a language or a culture.

Music, Movies, and Books

I particularly like rap music, but I like more or less every kind of music ( jazz, rock and indie-rock, grunge, crossover, drum'n'bass) especially if live played. I really can't stand reggaeton, latino and commercial music.
Some of my favourite bands are Arctic Monkeys, Incubus, Jake Bugg, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and actually I'm totally in love with Hiatus Kayiote.
I mostly listen to italian rap, so don't stare at me like I'm an alien if I say that I don't know a superfamous american rapper.
One of my favourite directors is Wes Anderson. I love also animated movies, especially in stop motion (so yes, also Tim Burton, and Disney movies). But I love Tarantino as well and indipendent movies ( Little Miss Sunshine, for instance) and cinema d'essay. Then American Beauty, Captain Fantastic, La Haine, Hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy, Everything is illuminated, It's kind of a funny story, Scott Pilgrim vs the world, Pietà (kim ki-duk), Rise the red lantern.
I love as well TV series (for instance Game of Thrones, actually I'm reading the books) and fantasy books in general: Tolkien, Licia Troisi (an italian novelist, try to get one of her books and if you like fantasy, I'm sure you'll fall in love with her), Harry Potter books (I grew up with them) and I love fairy tales as well, especially Grimm's, and if you try to read them, you will agree with me, sometimes they don't sound like they were written for kids, sometimes fables are slightly splatter!
I absolutely love Welsh (Trainspotting, acid house, skagboys and so on, I've read almost all his books), Chuck Palahniuk (Diary, Fight club, choke, lullaby etc.). I adore also Marquez, Tolstoj, Doestoevskij. I'm quite ectlectic.
I like also graphic novels and everything related to arts.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I crossed all Gorropu canyon (in Sardinia, one of the biggest canyons in Europe) with my bare feet and 10 kg of backpack.
I visited a great part of the island where I live, Sardinia, with my tent and sleeping bag, sleeping into nature and under the stars, and it has been one of the best experience ever
I took part to the Terenowa Masakra, a 5 km race full of obstacles.
I visited 7 coutries in 3 months during my Erasmus in Poland, I crossed Hungary by hitchhiking and I've met amazing people.

Teach, Learn, Share

Unfortunately, if you have too many interests there is the risk that you don't learn nothing properly. But I can try to teach you whatever I know, and you can do the same.
I would like to learn some breakdance, learn how to climb and jump properly.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook and try not to poison you, but I'm vegetarian, so sorry. Usually I'm talkative, we could share our stories. Or if I'm not, we can share silence, I like it as well.
