We are a couple of professors (Federal University) with a todler (7) living at Urca, Rio de Janeiro. The neighborhood has only six squares with 16 streets and is surrounded by Guanabara Bay. We love to know our neighbors and meeting them as friends. The Sugar Loaf is a few minutes walking from our door. There are many sports options nearby like climbing, cycling, surfing... We go every day walking on the beach that is on the corner of our house.
We also love to see the nature and the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have stayed in some great hotels/hostels around the world but my best memories have not come from them. My best memories come from talking to strangers as a child around the table or in their living room. Thats why we are exciting to start using Couchsurfing.
