COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted twice, both times for a 3rd party 'host' who discovered at the last minute that she couldn't host and called me. I just thought I'd find out a little bit more about this 'couchsurfing' stuff. I'm not looking to surf... I prefer Hyatt or Marriott :-)
Really enjoyed introducing people to Baku and Azerbaijan as an ex-pat resident.

I like the idea of this section, but doubt that many people will be interested in 'planning and cost control' if they are travelling to Azerbaijan.
Geology, Quantity Surveying, living and working in foreign countries, complete failure to master any language other than English. Enough?
