Overview
About Me
I'm an active and adventurous individual with a keen drive to explore new places, to experience different things and to meet new people. Currently residing in Hamburg, I have a background that spans across various countries and diverse experiences.
Although I havnt spent much time elsewhere in Italy I have enjoyed some time living and working in Napoli at a vibrant hostel. The bustling energy of the city and the opportunity to immerse myself in its rich culture left a lasting impression on me. Following that, I ventured to Spain, where I worked as a diving instructor, exploring the enchanting underwater world and sharing my passion for the sea with others.
Now living in Hamburg, where I have recently finished a master's degree in Climate Science, driven by my fascination with environmental issues. Presently, I am working as a climate system researcher, delving into the complexities of our planet's climate and striving to contribute to a sustainable future.
No real plan to my travels but I am willing to try almost anything once and hope to learn more about the world through doing this.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing is an avenue that resonates with me as it offers a brilliant opportunity to meet captivating individuals and gain insights into the places they call home. I firmly believe that connecting with locals allows for a deeper understanding of a location, far surpassing what can be gained from a mere glimpse in a glossy magazine (Although to be fair, it's also one of the cheaper options!).
I havent used couch surfing for a little while so my references are now a little dated but please feel free to check out my instagram if perhaps that might provide some additional insight to my life: https://www.instagram.com/alexktts/
Interests
Hard to pin down my interests as I'm keen for pretty much everything! Good music, beautiful scenery, or outdoor sports! Particularly interested in climbing and canoeing. I'd like to see as much of the world as possible, there's so many interesting things to see and I think couchsurfing is one of the best ways to do it!

Teach, Learn, Share
I absolutely love engaging in interdisciplinary discussions on a wide range of topics! It's fascinating to explore the intersections between different fields and gain new insights. While I do have knowledge and expertise in certain areas, I approach these conversations with an open mind and a genuine eagerness to learn. I'm always thrilled to share my perspectives and provide interesting insights based on what I know. At the same time, I find immense joy in delving into subjects where I have limited knowledge, as it presents an opportunity for growth and discovery. So, whether we're talking about a topic I'm well-versed in or exploring something entirely new, I'd be very happy to share a bottle of wine and have meaningful and engaging discussions with you!
